What personal data we collect and why we collect it

By default WordPress does not collect any personal data about our visitors but since the website has several plugins, a form and operates on cookies, we do collect different data.

Personal data in server logs: We collect and store personal data (IP address, browser type) in our server logs for the limited and legitimate purpose of detecting and preventing fraud and unauthorized system access, and ensuring the security of our systems.
Access and error logs are deleted after 400 days. After this time, the logs would be securely erased using the shred utility.

Contact forms

When visitors fill out the EPK Request form on the site we collect the data shown in the form. This data includes e-mail address, name and profession. We collect this data to be able to answer the person’s request adequately and share our EPK with them. Technically, the website does not store this information, but this info is sent to us by email. This means that it is stored on our email hosting provider, Gmail.


The website uses cookies for third party plugins which are compliant to the GDPR:

  1. Songkick: for previewing the tour dates and events that we add to our songkick account. In order for Songkick to track the user’s action on the plugin, it employs cookies. If the user is logged in to their account and is already logged in then this attendance will be synced with their account. If the user is not logged in, Songkick will prompt them to log in.   2. AddThis (for social sharing): for allowing users to share the content on the website on different social media accounts. When a user clicks on a the “share” button, a pop up button appears asking them where they would like to share this piece of content. This plugin employs cookies to track the user’s behaviour on the website and what they are sharing. Our site includes embedded video content from other websites. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Who we share your data with

We share our data with the Gmail Service. Whenever a user fills out our contact form, an e-mail is automatically to Studio Keeward (our music residency program). They then get in contact with the person who filled out the form and send them the EPK.

How long we retain your data

If you get in contact with us through the “Request the EPK” form, your email, name and profession are retained indefinitely in email format. This is so we can generate potential leads in the music industry and build a relationship with these potential contacts.

What rights you have over your data

If you have gotten in contact with us through the “Request the EPK” form, you can request to receive this data by email. You also have the right to ask us to delete your data. All you need to do is send fill out this form here by mentioning who you are and that you would like us to delete your data.

Where we send your data

This site is hosted on OVH and managed by Keeward Group.

As a processor, OVH commits to:

  1. Processing personal data solely for the purposes of carrying out the services correctly: OVH will never process information for any other purposes (marketing, etc.).
  2. Keeping your data inside the EU and only in countries recognised by the European Union as offering a sufficient degree of protection, provided that you do not select a datacentre located in a geographical area outside the EU.
  3. Applying strict security standards to provide a high level of security for their customers.
